Concert: Ensemble Klingekunst
In this concert, the Ensemble Klingekunst opens up new worlds of sound and plays music by Maria Theresa’s favourite composer Georg Christoph Wagenseil, as well as by one of the most successful and prolific composers of the Baroque: Georg Philipp Telemann. The four musicians play on original instruments or their replicas and make the music sound as it did in those days.
Ensemble Klingekunst was founded in 2009 and stands for expressive and passionate musicmaking. The ensemble’s focus involves well-grounded historical performance practice, but their main passion is the lively conveyance of music. Not only do they newly discover valuable rarities and combine them with renowned masterworks, but also create new and exciting backdrops, such as performances featuring a Baroque crime story.
Sieglinde Größinger – flauto traverso
